Working in the shop and how we print our fabric

Hello there! Every couple of months I try to go to the Wisconsin side of Something Nice Design and work at producing the products (Susan, my mom, does it by herself the rest of the time. She's so great!) Here are a couple of shots I took last time I was there.

Here is a wide view of the printing, sewing, and pressing area. Don't mind the lazy dog and the laundry room!

Our recent art show!

Every year our home town has a festival celebrating chocolate, it's called Chocolate Fest. They also have a craft & art fair along with it! It was a blast and we got to see lots of our friends and neighbors. We can't wait for our next show!

We're back!

After a week of spring break followed by a week of a serious flu, we are back! We just found out we got a booth in my hometown's amazing craft and art fair! We are gearing up! Starting with introducing a new "Berry" line! There will be shirts, mugs, and aprons! Here is a small glimpse!

What's New In The Shop!

Happy Spring! It's the first day this week we didn't have 80 degree weather! Finally feels like spring! We just put a new collection into our etsy shop today, "Spring Things"! Let me know what you guys think! Don't forget you can enter to win one of these on my blog!

What we're working on...

What I'm currently working on...

Working on a long overdue blog project for a friend of mine.  Center of Short Attention is a very witty blog about the change of becoming a mother, and sometimes the paranormal. Her posts are very amusing and I suggest you check it out!

I am working on designing my first tea towel! Coming soon! I am very excited!!! 

Also just finished making our logo into a stamp! We just need to order it and then we will be all set to create some awesome packaging!

Also just finished my backdrop to my Valentines Day Party set up! Coming soon!

New Year, New Goals

Happy New Year from Something Nice!  We are very excited for the new year and can't wait for the experiences to come! Like every start to a new year we have new goals! One of those is to be a part of the art/craft fair community! We are trying to compile a list of local ones that we can be part of in the Wisconsin and Minnesota area.  Let us know if you know of any!

Studio Sunday! Behind the scenes...

Something Nice Designs finally has their Etsy shop up and running! We spent a lot of time documenting our products and we are so happy with the results. We currently have cards, pillows, and mugs. Prints, totes, and shirts are coming soon!  Here is a couple of shots of behind the scenes of the photo shoot.
