DIY Bird Nest Hair Pins!

This is a very simple DIY my friend Maci and I did last year.  We saw these cute birds in nests at our craft store. so we just glued a piece of felt on the back and slid a bobby pin in. They look super cute with braids! :)

Falling into Fall, Cookies & Pie

Today really feels like the beginning of fall. So I put on my thick fall socks and decided to bake some fall goodies.  I got the super cute pumpkin sugar cookies and made some pumpkin pie.

It's a pumpkin kind of day :)

                            

Weddings, weddings, weddings!

So we have been part of three weddings this year so far.  One was unusual for us, this time we did the photography! We are only a step higher than amateurs but we made it happen and had a blast. It was for one of my oldest friends, Shelbi. She got happily married to her husband Josh in May.  It was a beautiful wedding and a beautiful dress. Here are a couple of our shots.

Maci & Vincent

Something Nice Designs loves weddings! And we love our friends! So when are friends are getting married we are overjoyed and love to help.  Our good friends Vincent and Maci and getting married in October!  And we have been working on a lot of illustrations for them and loving it.

Adding to the Something Nice Family!

We have a new addition to the Something Nice family! Her name is Knives and she is a 6 week year old kitten!

We named her Knives after Knives Chau a character from Scott Pilgrim.

She IS a character and we love adding her to the family!
